Why candidates need it

The official tools give you a score — not a plan.

Bluebook's practice tests hand back a number and stop there. The real questions are: am I on pace for my target, which domains are costing me, and how does the adaptive test actually work?

Analysis

A score with no breakdown isn't a study plan.

PrepScore turns every practice set and mock into analysis: a practice estimate toward your target, and your accuracy across the official Reading & Writing and Math domains.

Pace

You can't tell if you'll reach your target in time.

Set a target score and a test date; the dashboard shows a practice estimate as a range and the gap left to close — not a vague "keep going".

Adaptive

The hard part is the adaptive module.

Our full-length mocks reproduce the harder/easier Module 2 routing the digital SAT uses — so test day plays out the way you practiced.

Built for how the SAT really runs

The real SAT is on a computer. So are our full-length mocks.

The digital SAT can't be taken on a phone — and neither should a full-length mock, if you want a practice estimate you can trust. PrepScore keeps the full, adaptive experience on the desktop, and uses your phone for the in-between.

  • Full-length adaptive mocks on the computer, like the real thing
  • Daily practice, flashcards and mistake review on your phone
  • One timed module when you only have 30 minutes
  • Your dashboard and target score in sync across both

FAQ

SAT questions, answered

What's on the digital SAT?
Two sections — Reading and Writing first, then Math — with 98 questions in 2 hours 14 minutes, taken on a computer. Each section is adaptive, and scores run 400 to 1600.
What is a good SAT score?
It depends on your target colleges. The recent national average is about 1030; roughly 1200 is near the 80th percentile and 1400 near the 97th. In PrepScore you set your own target and track a practice estimate toward it — there's no fixed pass line.
How does the adaptive SAT work?
Each section has two modules. How you do on the first decides whether the second is the harder or easier module, and each section adapts once. Our mock exams reproduce this so test day isn't a surprise.
How is PrepScore different?
Official practice gives you a score but little analysis. PrepScore turns your practice into a dashboard — a practice estimate toward your target, your weak domains across RW and Math, and full-length adaptive mocks. Start free, no credit card.
